Are there any beer / liquor / grocery stores close to the Garbi Hotel in Playa Den Bossa?

there are several spar supermercados near hotel garbi, but for cheap booze/liqour then go to uno's bodega down the side street from the bar with the bucking bull ride, great prices from a family run business who are very friendly. hope this helps

we will be in playa den bossa aug 27th til sept 3rd not sure what kind of holiday you want but space club is about ten minutes walk away, murphy's irish bar is very good if you don't have children with you (11pm to 6am) with great live music. ibiza town is fantastic, quiet during the day(siesta time) but comes alive at night. about 5 mins along the prom from hotel garbi the watertaxi takes you into ibiza harbour very reasonable and worth the trip. also if you are interested a trip to see the sunset outside cafe mambo is good for all ages

just take a pint glass with you.they only give you 1/2 glasses. .don;t you dare use mine.?tell them woody told you to bring one, best cheapest bar in pdb.nothing posh but cheap.1.80 euro;s a big bottle of beer.2 and 1/2 pints..thornetons choc.s she would like to try as well.so if you do take any over .she will love you.bar next door is good for snacks.and a nice pint for 1.50 euro.

woody algarb hotel.glasses big nose?

hi woody what is it about derbyshire people and ibiza apart from online guy every other thread has been from somebody from derby. i am 2 miles from junction 28

All suggestions so far have been spot on,but if you really need to stock up (greedy)and you have a car or wheelbarrow or big pushchair or something ,head towards Ibiza town to find Lidel, near the roundabout (landmark,McDonalds) not much fresh food, except maybe sacks of spuds and onions, very good on basic's, booze the cheapest without a doubt(unless you know someone) although a limited range.I have a feeling I have the spelling of this place wrong,no doubt someone could correct me...:?

julie - us derbyshire lot know how to give it some an have a good time, every time we've been over we've met people from derbyshire without fail.
we're off over again sept for two weeks - by the way its woody's second home i reckon!

Theres a small grocery just behind Garbi and a hug one just up the road. All very cheap and reasonable. Like most of Ibiza if you dont spend your time in places and with people you fundamentally cant or wornt afford to (ie you wouldnt if you were at home), you have a better time and dont get raped for money as is the wont of Ibiza in the summer months. Buy a the doings for a picnic hire a car (Eu36/day max) and go to places you've never seen and 95% of visitors never see you'll be amazed at what you find.

yes its my 2nd home... since 82.walk out of hotel turn right.turn left at lights.on the left is a shop thats cheap..you tend to find the shops that are not the main road are a little cheaper.thing is with uno;s the beers wine ect are cold,so you can take them back to your room.no fridge in rooms now at garbi.just a mini bar

yes i thing you really have to walk round or get a car.to see places and things.don;t just stop in one place.
