I don't think they're gonna turn anyone away for not being in that dress code. Certainly didn't last October. But it is quite nice to see a party where a lot of attendees get involved in the theme

I agree with what you are saying but sorry in this case, it sounds a bit pretentious to me. Another case where how you look is more important than the music and whole experience all together.
