Bars - San An or Playa Den Bossa

Heading out to Ibiza next month with a large group of 30s lads and was wondering what the better area is between San An and PdB for a bit of a bar crawl.

We have club nights lined up, but it's a mixed crowd and not everyone is bang into the clubs so we thought that one night doing a bit of a bar crawl could be good.

It's been years since I've visited either of these resorts, having stuck to Ibiza and the clubs in more recent visits.

Am hearing that San An is very quiet this year with the curfew, but also that PdB is expensive. We're looking for a relatively cheap night but don't want to be the only ones in the bars!

What are your thoughts please forum?

OK thanks I'd sort of ruled that out on the basis that there was around 10-12 of us, so worried it was too big a group. Do you think we'd be OK with those sort of numbers?

that's a pretty normal number of people for a night out with friends here in spain! you'll be fine.

I was just in San An last week. The West End was really busy most nights, however we noticed it was really quiet on the Tuesday night.

We had been at Ushuaia and decided to have a few drinks in the west end to finish the night off but it was totally dead. I reckon it was due to a few big nights happening like Resistence and Eric Prydz at Hibiza as I noticed the taxi rank was full of people departing.

Other nights though it was really busy and rowdy (big shock! lol) however its a bit of a downer that it shuts down at 0300ish. We found a few bars that were still open and a lot of people seamed to be just carrying on the party on the beach sort of area and still hanging around. I don't think anyone is ready to stop drinking/partying at 3am, I'm hoping they have a rethink on that one next year! (doubt they will though)

I'm sure you's will have a good time wherever you go, and good luck keeping a tribe of 30 altogether on a night out lol

Noticed the same, San An is still busy and far from dead but it does seem to get affected more when big events are on out of town that it used to.

Bossa was also quieter on the one night we went, and the drink prices there get worse and worse every time.

Ibiza Town is probably my favourite town to drink in now.
