Barca is fantastic. Friendly crowd and loads to do. Search on here for barca posts - there are loads and loads of recommendations for clubs / bars restaurants. Try my fave which is Torre D'alta mAR for a fantastic meal.

depending on which game it is (i.e. how in demand tickets are) you can get tickets from cash machines in the city, to save going up to the ground.
alternatively, often the cheapest way of gaining entry is to use the season ticket of someone outside the ground offering to sell it to you. they will walk you into the ground so there is no con. a few years ago, i paid €10 for a ticket by doing this.

They are playing Espanyol so will definitely be needing tickets in advance! Found a site selling at 115E, 109E and 79E - is that reasonable!?
well unlucklily for you, you've got the 2nd most popular league game of the season (after real madrid).
they don't sound as extortionate as you can pay, but still a 50% mark up on prices.

you can still see from the top but it is rather like subbuteo and obviously the atmosphere is lost a bit into the openness, but it's still worth it, especially if it is a gift/treat. it'll look amazing when it's been refurbished.
