OK I know I've asked this on here before but it's only a couple of weeks until I go now, but can I have some clubbing recommendations for Barcelona? I'm mostly into house and electro. My girlfriend (wife by then) is mad about Pacha and as we think there is one there she is very keen to check it out, is this worthwhile or would somewhere else be better? Unfortunately clubbing is an area in which the guide books are very weak. All help much appreciated!
 
The best club currently in Barcelona (esp. when you're into Electro) is Fellini (www.clubfellini.com), the best sound and the hottest crowd. Other places not be missed are Discotheque, Sugar and Catwalk (best night: "Silicon" on sundays) . Pacha however is the place definitely to be missed, it's gone all the way down from quite good at the beginning to beyond crappy lately. It's got about as much in common with Pacha Ibiza as Hed Kandi and Gigolo Records.

Really wanted to visit Catwalk at new year but girlfriend had come down with terrible flu!

anyone know the website for catwalk? sounds like cool club. What about Space in barcelona? is that a good place to go?

Been to Catwalk twice, its amazing!! The music in the two rooms was always really good, both times it was electro/ dirty house. Subliminal Sessions I think ran its night there sometimes.

Another thing that impressed me was the standard of ladies... outstanding!!! 8O 8) 8O 8) I think the name Catwalk suits the club well ;)

how much it cost to get in clubs in barcelona, especially Catwalk? They play other music besides electro/dirty house? Trance or stuff like that? One thing i never noticed so far, does catwalk or any other clubs play hip hop?

Sorry, I didn't see your post yesterday.
I think La Terrazzza is closed due noise problems with neighbourgs (very strange cos it's sitted in a hill that's a park), I'll try to sort it out for you :D

Pacha is a bit risky. Members from the spanish forum went last weekend and said it was wicked, altho the crowd is usuall VERY young and up-town, not my cup of tea

Space it's great on Sunday for Gay-Day, but it's only for boys :roll:

Catwalk is the beautiful people club ;)
 
Confirmed, La Terrazzza is closed :(

Discotheque is open, last time I went the crowd wasn't what I expect in a house club, I never been a big fan.

And Fellini is La Terrazzza people in a club in the middle of las Ramblas.
 
Barcelona is my favourite city and I've been clubbing there quite a bit. Saw Morillo and Jon Carter at Catwalk a couple of years ago - excellent club. I personally like La Terrazza and Discotheque but each to their own.

I think Fellini had just opened last time I was there in March but didn't really do it for me.

Another really good place is called (I think) Nitsa which is an old ballroom. In fact there is ballroom dancing there on Fridays immediately before the club night opens:)

If you're up for a real bender go to Souvenir on Sunday morning. It's in a big warehouse a little way out of Barcelona (not too far). It is absolutley mad - a bit like DC10 for a city. There ar efree buses that leave La Terrazz/Discoteca around 7am to take you to Souvenir:):)

Just remember that people in Spain go out clubbing a lot later (2am onwards) than we do in UK.

Never been to Catwalk but whould be something around 15€.
I don't think you'll hear hip hop on those clubs, but if you are up for an urban night you can go Jamboree in Plaça Reial
