Barcelona Football Season

Sil/Ferd or anyone else who might know...

When does the Barca football season run? And how would I go about getting tickets?

I'm thinking about treating my brother for his 18th birthday next year. Is there any way I can book tickets in advance or is it a case of turning up on the day? I don't want to go there and not get a game 8O :?

Me and Tom went to a game in January - you can book online at the Barca website http://www.fcbarcelona.com/eng/home-page/home/home.shtml and then pick them up on match day.

The season runs pretty much the same as the English football season but they have a winter break.

Also most matches are on a Sunday night but one is always on a Saturday night - they don't decide this til about a week before (I know cos I kept e-mailing them to find out if our game was on the Saturday or the Sunday and you could just tell they thought leave us alone you mad organised English bird :oops: :lol: )

The website shows the different seating tiers you get - we got the 2nd most expensive and had absolutely brilliant seats just a bit up and behind the goal.

Oh and if his birthday falls on a big game like Real Madrid you have no hope of getting tickets, the fixture list is on their website now.

Well the first thing I have to do is convince the little sh1t to get on a plane. My Dad has poisoned his mind against flying! i asked him before and he said no so the odds are we wont even get to Barcelona!
I'm not fussed about which game. I'd probably book a match for sometime next summer, probably about this time next year. I know it's a long way off but I'm away for 6 months so need to start planning these things now!

If I'm not wrong it's not possible to book a game for next season before we have next season calendar and that's in july ;)
 
Barca's ground is tiny, there is no atmosphere and I wouldn't bother going again - take him to QPR instead.
