Barcelona Club choices...

Heading to Barcelona for the first time next weekend so any reccommendations on which clubs to check out would be gratfully received.

Out of the usual suspects, Moog certainly looks worth a visit with good local DJs and I've also heard good things about Macarena.

Liquid on a Saturday night?

Any others chucking their hat in the ring? Catwalk, Fellini, Razzmatazz? - although with a name like that it's enough to put you off!

Thanks

i'll also be going there after i hit up ibiza in september, so i'm also looking for suggestions.

one club i remember going to when i studied abroad there (6 years ago) was la terrazzza...that place was pretty cool. dunno how it is now though, or even what kind of music it is. there's an absinthe bar off of la rambla you can go to to start off the night.

barcelona is great for nightlife, very close to ibiza regarding quality but much cheaper! paid for djs like hell and väth in huge clubs only 15euros (including a free drink!).

been to "la terraza" which was ok, but a bit too small and when i went the house-music was too cheesy.

definitely go to:
- razzmatazz: huge club in old factory - GREAT!! a must! they have a great booking too.
- nitsa: an old opera house, now a techno-club. huge and great atmosphere. not far from la rambla.

pacha barcelona is not bad either. don't know about space barcelona.
moog is good, small and great music.
i heard cityhall is also quite good, but I've never been there.
on fridays and saturdays there should be house/techno there.

DONT GO to the maremagnum-clubs. only tourists, rip off and bad music.

viva barcelona!!

I have been in Pacha BCN when Morillo DJd and it was a very good party. Next day we went to Space which was also good, even better than Mr Morillo :) Some local Spanish Djd which names I can't remember..

Any suggestions for pre-club to have a few drinks and good music, house preferably. Haven't found any yet, all have been just "normal" bars, tapas places etc..

Thanks for the input all!

Yeah I forgot about Nitsa...it looks like it is their 12th birthday this weekend so would guess that will be worth checking out.

Not sure whether I'm going to make it to Ibiza this year so Barcelona loks like it will tick a few boxes!:)

I'm also going to Barcelona this year for 6 days in August...made a search some days ago and these are what i found...Pacha,La Terazza,Razzmatazz,Liquid,Catwalk and Kubik...check them out...very interesting nights every week;)
