Bar M : Manumission after Party, Ibiza 1997

Found some old footage I had of a party at Bar M in 97. This was at about 8.30 in the morning when it used to carry on back there after Manumission.

At about 11.30, 30 minutes after we left, a huge fight kicked off between rival scouse gangs and I was told it was like a Wild West film with two tables turned over and a no mans land in between with bottles being thrown.

A lot more raw and less commercial then, those were the days! :lol:

My first experience of Space was Manumission carry on and I went there just randomly. Never seen so many cool people in my life, they dont make em like that any more :D
 
The next day carry on were great. I would either go to Pacha or Amnesia on Saturday night. then head to Space right after. I would always be wrecked on Mondays.

Most people would go straight after Manumission finished at about 8/9. I used to pop back to San An, quick shower, change of clothes, couple of beers etc and then off I went.

Remember Claire Manumission dancing with her pal on a podium, both didn't have knickers on and took great delight in flashing their lady gardens throught the morning. Alfredo on the decks and a very cool and up for it crowd. No sight seers!

The name Carry On was specific to Manumission. Sunday's were good though!
 
Carry on was great fun. absolute nonsense looking back

I used to work at Bar M. Mondays and Tuesday were ridiculous amounts of fun...... :twisted:
 
thanks for this, took me way back to my first year on Ibiza. Loved bar M then. Not so stuck on the Ibiza rocks bar, but perhaps its cos Im stuck in the past! :D

would love to see some footage of the New Star :eek:
 
Bang on regarding the New Star Bar, mental place, loony central.

That vid brings back some memories, Bar M was great back then. Proper hardcore party people in those days, no need for sunnies!
 
manumission was wicked.. sadly never went to space afterwards...
remember meeting some sweedish girls at manumission, spending the hole time we were there with them .... they asked if we wanted to go to space but we did not have the money with us to go....:(
at that time it was not so easy to just go to any cash machine and get money out

there is nothing quite as wild as manumission was!!!
 
Funnily enough, I met a bunch of Swedish girls at Carry On after a Manumission. They said they had been with a bunch of guys earlier who had run out of money.

They were dirty.
