Bar Cube (Figueretas) is back!

It's a little bar which the owners left (early last year??) and became "Monkey/Baboon Bar". Passing that bar last week, it was clear renovations were going on, and the signage said "Bar Cube" but I didn't know whether that was from before and had been covered over.
Anyhow, just received this on facebook Hello everyone!. The Cube is opening its doors on the 15th of April!!. We invite you all to come and enjoy with us!
Tapas and a welcome drink! See you soon!..
...which I think is brilliant! Dunno if the "new" owners are the same boys that ran it before, but I'm looking forward to going back. Waiting for a facebook reply.
IMO "Monkey Bar" was awful, overpriced, souless and I didn't see anyone in it last October, and who wants to stare at monkeys all night?? Maybe cats....
Anyone here been to the Monkey bar?? Do you agree??

Original monkey was out in the middle of the island,junky room Vaughan ran it and it was cool place :cool: jerk chicken and man utd pkaying on the box on a February night was my only visit..:) gone a few years now. Vaughan is still doing stuff though..
 
Spent an hour in the "New Cube" on Monday, only to return and find it closed down with a notice on the door. No idea whether that's temporary or permanent.
