So i'lll be going to ibiza again this summer (5th year in a row) and this year we will be going back to San Antonio to stay after staying in playa den bossa last year!

Aint got a clue where to stay though! Previous years in san antonio we have stayed in poniente playa and 1 on the strip itself above the cd/ticket shop accross the road from kfc (never again!)

Any suggestions? Might even consider the Bay this year as its alot cheaper and you can even get all inclusive (not that ill be eating much!) But my fear is the Bay might be too much out the way?

I looked at picsis park but im guessing at the end of june its going to be full of idiots!
 
That's easy one. Stay in Calo d'es Moro. Walking distance everywhere and well away from the knobheads.
 
Not too clued up on hotel names - my memory doesn't seem to do to well in Ibiza. We were looking at staying up past the egg this year somewhere. We stayed up in the hills at Casa Salada - in a private villa - very nice, but way too far away from everything to do it properly.
 
Well i looked at picsis park and Central park, they are both right next to the Egg, but ive seen how busy that area of San Antonio gets at home time and its full of boozed up idiots so can imagine what the hotels are like!

Poniente playa was the perfect hotel nearly, if it was a bit closer to everything and its pool was on site and not over the road then it would be perfect

Central City is a good location but its sold out i think for the time i want to go!

Has anyone stayed in the Mar I Vent Apartments? Supposed to be right behind Cafe Del Mar?

In San An I've stayed in both Ses Savines & the Arenal before and would definitely stay in either of them again, really like the location of them, plus they are just along from 2 of my favourite bars - Bay Bar & Itaca.
I'm thinking about staying in Puchet this year as really liked the look of it when I was in ibiza last summer, but if not there then probably Ses Savines or the Arenal again.

Ive stayed there before, last year in fact, wasnt a bad hotel at all, the location was perfect! There were a few people there hammered singing in the day etc but you kind of have to expect that in san an

I will be looking to stay there again this year tbh
 
If you want to stay in piscis park good luck. That is all I will say, oh and it might be an idea to acquire a pool cue or similar weapon in advance for protection :D
 
i stayed in Marco Polo II a few years back and it was really basic but in the middle of it all! Was a bit loud till about 3am but I was out most night past that! Hassle free though and dirt cheap!

Also stated in Fiesta Hotel Palmyra which was much nicer (little more expensive)! That's within walking distance of everywhere and you dont get any idiots!

Stayed in the Osisris in the bay before that but owuldnt go that far away again! After night 2 it got a pain walking back there getting hastled off luckies :D

costa mar or Sol bahia are both good choices IMO. though the OP may think these are a bit of a walk (which IMO is a good thing!)
 
I stayed in Poniente Playa last year and thought it was a fab hotel would defo stay there again.
This year i've booked private apartment Porto Magno. Its above the chemist/bank next to the main Taxi queue. Doesnt have a pool but I can survive without that! Reasonable and looks fab!
 
Staying at The Hawaii this year.

Seems to be in decent enough location far enough round the bay to get away from everything if you need a break but close enough to just walk round and get involved :D

All Inclusive with Jet2 isn't a bad deal either (paying 500 each for 10nights with flights included)
 
Try looking into the Hotel Tropical. I rolled the dice on it two years in a row and both were ok. It is a little off the beaten path just up from the subway in San An. Not a whole lot of drunken idiots but they seemed to tolerate me when I stumbled in. Prices were decent too and you can walk anywhere in San An in like 5-10 minutes.

I've made the Orosol hotel my home for the last 5 trips. Just 2 mins walk up the street from Picsis park, and as a bonus it's right next to the bus station. Unbelievably quiet at night considering you can be on the West End in less than a 5 mins walk.

Are they hotels aimed more at families/old people though?

Stayed in poniente before and we found the walk to and from into the centre of san antonio every day quite gruelling lol :)
 
Yes,Ses Savines and the like is full of old people etc, wouldn't suit you.

On second thoughts,if you found the walk from the Poniente to San An and back difficult,then maybe it would.
 
Well ok maybe not difficult but doing that walk everyday especially if we were heading down to by itaca bar was tiring, Central City is an ideal hotel, not too far and not too close!

Ses Savines and Hotel Arenal are good locations though!

Where is hotel Tropical?
 
Hotel Tropical is about 5 mins walk from Poniente,into the back of the town.
Very close to Ibiza Rocks Hotel, just down the hill from there.
