back to ibiza?

So I have not been back to ibiza since the summer of 2005 and I was thinking of making my way back to the white isle this summer. I imagine alot has changed on the isle since my last visit.

The last time I went there I stayed @ The Fiesta Hotel across the street from Space. What could be recommend in the similar vain as that in PDB? I would like something close to the beach (or on the beach). I don't want to blow a tonne of $$$ on it but I also don't need to stay somewhere super cheap. Something mid-range in terms of price is fine.

Aside from the hotel route what are some good safe reputable websites to look for a villa / apartment as I feel as though I should explore this option as well.

one of the major changes you'll see on this site is that we now sell accommodation. you can actually browse and book online and securely a choice of hotels, apartments and villas. just scroll down a few centimetres to the bottom left of the page where you'll see the plan your holiday section. you can search through by area, date and type of accommodation and the results are in price order so you know immediately which is in your budget. how about that?

one thing that hasn't changed from your last trip is space. it's still there!
 
One thing I would like to see on the accommodation booking section is a way to input the number of people intending to stay.

Lets say 4 adults want to book a room together. The search results would then show available rooms that can accommodate them not just all the rooms available for 2 people. It would make it more precise and cut down the amount of time trawling through accommodation that doesn't match.

Apart from that, the accommodation booking engine on this site is one of the best, safe and user friendly booking formats out there.

If you havent been since 2005 you will be abit sad how its changed. Its still amazing but the whole daytime clubbing has all but died as you know. I hadnt been since 2005 before i went last year and i felt like crying seeing how dead the sunset terrace at space was at 6pm.
 
yea i loved bora bora in 2005 ... i have read its not as good now.

also i heard of the new beach club ushaia? what is that like?
 
very good.i popped down a few times last year.i went to the closing party.packed its was like a footy game in the old days before seats.tip best to park away from bar as you could not get a space anywhere.they even parked on a field and lane leading to bar from road,

bit dark though trying to get to it.not much lighting down that way.there was another beach bar opened last year next door to bora bora.forgot its name now.only had a look a few times.but if i remember right its closed now.shame good tunes.and somewhere esle to go.
