ha ha - that was my first owned flat - bought off an old couple, the carpet was already in and brand new believe it or not!!! lasted about a month, couldnt afford a new one, so sanded the floorboards :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Came with the lodger :lol::lol:

When I got my first mortgage the rate was at 15% and I had barely enough money to cover my mortgage never mind purchase things......

I had a bed and a cooker and a fridge of my own and donated stuff..... from all and sundry.... people were so generous in those days. :lol::lol::lol::lol:
