August with my girlfriend!

Hi,

I'm heading to Ibiza for my first time EVER! with my girlfriend we are both 22 and from Canada. I'm currently in Afghanistan with limited internet so I'm trying to get a little bit of information in one spot as possible! We are right now booked in for August 12-17th (may stay longer) and we are staying at the Hotel Garbi in the playa den bossa.

I'm just wondering about what is a must to do in the short time we are in Ibiza? We both love to party and dance, and hopefully going to Cream on the 12th, and also try to get to Space on Sunday... should be buy tickets before hand? or wait til we get there?

What are some must see parties?

I really don't want to plan out too much, I would rather just want to go with the flow, meet people and go from there, but I feel the need to do some planning in advance lol.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

I would say yes you have to check out BoraBora seeing as its free and whether its as good as it used to be or not its still free and has a great atmosphere.
CircoLoco @ DC10 on the monday is an experience you should def do if your into partying and then on to Cocoon!!!

It depends what sort of holiday your planning , if its not pure partying then hiring a car is a great way to get out of the resorts and explore. We found some nice beaches quite easilly riving around with a map and following signs.

I would put money on you guys wanting to stay longer , the first time me n my gf went we tried to do everything to extend out stay so we could go to DC10 again but we just couldnt afford it!

Thanks for the information. We definitly want to hit the clubs, dance and party. Also wouldn't mind checking out the island.

The more and more I read and hear, about Ibiza the longer I feel I need to stay there! haha, I know it's going to be expensive but it's a one in a life time trip, but so some reason I have a feeling I'll be coming back more than once.
 
me n my gf went for a week the first time then 2weeks both times after that. If you want to party alot and go for 1 week its doable but you will be knackerd and will be hard to explore the rest of the island. Also you will be constantly recovering from the night/day before so it all builds up.
2 weeks gives you the options to rest and play but of course is expensive. There are obviously ways you can save money if you plan it a little and perhaps dont want to eat out at nice places all the time.
Ibiza is stupidly expensive , its a fact , so its best to save as much as you can then hopefully you can just go for it and not worry too much about what your spending cos it can get depressing if you think too much about it.

What im saying is the best way is to save as much as possible and go and have a masive blowout and dont worry too much about it. But also at the other end you can do it cheaper but you will have to hold yourself back perhaps more than you might wish.

Hiii!

Me and my bf will be in Playa den Bossa from 12 to 23 august!We´re staying at Don Toni hotel!
I keep in touch with another 2 spotlighters who will be there aprox in the same period of time!
We plan to meet up and go out together in clubs and parties and yaa.. explore a bit the island if we´ll be awake enough to do it!;)

You guys are welcome to join us if u want to!!!;):p

We keep´n touch n there on the net from the hotel but the meeting point can be the Ushuaia beach or BoraBora..we´ll see!
