Hello everyone :)

Me and a friend are headin over august bank holiday and are just planning what we should do (organised or what!). our main purpose is to experience space, and would be really grateful for any tips and advice....

1. Is it better to go to Space on Thurs 24th (Monza) or Sat 26th (Gorgeous)? we fly back on the bank holiday sunday night  .

2. Do we need to buy tickets to get into Cafe Del Mar to watch the sunset if its a friday or a saturday?

3. Any tips about getting taxis when its really busy?

Thanks for your help guys!

love
Sol

to 'experience' space... you really need to be there for the we love.. party on sunday, which is a 22 hour party which starts at 8:00 am sunday morning.

if you leave sunday night, then perhaps you could try matinee on saturday? (or try and change your flights so you can experience Space in its full form:))

I have never been to Matinee, but many people here highly recommend it.

I've never heard of buying tickets for Cafe del Mar... admittedly, we usually sit at the next place over, Mambo, but for any of the sunset bars I think you'll just need to get there early enough to find a seat.

And hello uta! do you mean matinee on the sunday? i guess we could try, might be pushing it a bit to get our flights home though! and to be honest, we just want to experience space...and we'd get that if we wenr on the saturday aswell wouldn't we? i'm sure it would still be good?

no matinee is a day party! like I said I've never been, but lots of people seem to like it. I'm keen to give it a try this year.
if you are dead set on Space, what about trying La Comunidad?

to be honest, no, I don't think just going to space on sat night would be anywhere near what we love on sunday is like

and thanks for advice barbie! at this rate, its looking like a matinee on the saturday is the best bet......but again, why is it better than the evening....could you try and explain it to me please?

also, should i try and get tickest to all the clubs before flying out, or buy them when we arrive in ibiza?

cheers folks!

Space has always been about daytime clubbing, if you want to experience Space at its best do a daytime sesh.

Matinee opens at 8am, you can normally get discounted wristbands @ Tantra in PDB, I think we normally pay about 15 euros to get in. It normally goes on til about 5pm.

Time to arrive - evening sessions

New to the forum, hi to all:lol: off to ibiza in july for the first time (clubbing for years around the world but still an ibiza virgin) can't wait..... i have bought my tix online for carl cox / dj vibe etc at space on tuesday july 18. this is listed on the space calendar as an 8:00pm session. what's the story with the best time to arrive at the club?

as well...i hear a lot about wristbands but with online ticket purchases how will this work?

help and advice appreciated:?:

Sunset will be about 8pm-ish at the end of August.

Tbh I wouldn't bother with Cafe Del Mar these days, the sunset strip has become over-run with idiots and I rarely go down there, there's way nicer places to watch the sunset imo.

If you do want to head down there, head down there from about 7pm to get your place on a rock, then afterwards I'd go out for dinner somewhere nice if you're just wanting to save yourself for a big night. Then either do Pure Pacha on the Friday and head straight to Matinee on Saturday morning or get up and do Matinee fresh on Saturday morning.

Oh and planes fly over PDB pretty much all thru the day and night.

thanks for the advice barbie! much appreciated...and i have more questions!

where would be a good place to chill out sunday afternoon in san antonio?
Any suggestions for nice places to eat in san antonio?
What happens if we want to do saturday matinee and dance all night aswell?
Do they serve alcohol in the clubs, or are people mostly doing narcotics?

thanks sweetheart!
