Aug 6-12 HELP!... been out of the game...

Heading there Aug 6th... cant wait! Would really love thoughts on where to go.. my girl and I are going and been away from clubs for a while. not sure where to go or when. out of the loop! :cry:

love Masters of Work/vega kind of stuff.. used to like Sanchez, CJ Mackintosh, Todd Terry.. not sure what they are like now! and no idea what anything is called anymore! :oops:
house, deep house, uplifing house.. please help! we are there from aug 6 -12 and any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.. Can't Wait!!!!
 
You've got Roger Sanchez @ Pacha on a Monday and he plays all night.

Tuesdays @ Pacha are Defected so expect your standard funky house, they have got Kenny Dope and Danny Krivit as guests sometime in August so I'd check listings on this site to see if that's when you're there.

Wednesday La Troya @ Amnesia is good, it's a mixed/gay night and the music on the terrace is funky. Alternatively Subliminal is @ Pacha on Wednesdays with Erick Morillo every week and guests or OM Records is @ El Divino with the likes of Mark Farina.

Thursdays it's either Deep Dish or Ministry @ Pacha, both are blinding nights, check the calendar to see who's playing when you're there.

Fridays are Pure Pacha with Tongy and various guests, again check calendar for listings.

Saturdays I always have a day of rest in preparation for We Love Sundays @ Space, make sure you go there, there's 2 terraces now, an inside, the Red Room and a rooftop terrace so you'll find something that you like.

I'd avoid the clubs in San An if you like the DJs listed, they tend to attract a younger crowd and there's a lot trance/hard house nights.

You'll be fine in places like Pacha, Space as they cater for a slightly older clientelle ;)

San An attracts the younger crowd, PDB, Figuretes and Ibiza Town attract an older more cosmopolitan crowd.

Spend some time down at Bora Bora as well, it's beach bar in PDB and everyone dances outside from late afternoon :D

Borra Borra here i come!! the thought of dancing outside on the beach.. just put a huge smile on my face! :D friday cant come soon enough!!

Where abouts are you staying?? You can't miss Bora Bora, it's on the beach in PDB and there's always loons dancing on the tables cheering to the planes going overhead :D
 
we are staying at some apts outside of San An.. wanted to have someplace quiet to retreat to.. no idea if they are nice.. vistabella bungalows.. foud on this site. getting a car, so plan on exploring a lot by day.. how far is PDB?

They're meant to be nice those, I had a friend who stayed there. If you've got a car then it's no problem, will probably take you 20 mins to get from one side of the island to the other.
 
cool.. where do you stay? a bit concerned that i might drive to the beach and have to leave the car after a stop in at bora bora!.. anything else a must do? thanks again for your reply!

I tend to stay PDB/Figueretes/Ibiza Town, just cos most of the nights etc I go to are over that side of the island.

If you've got a car go down to Salinas for a day on the beach down there, also drive up to Benniras, the beach there is gorgeous.

For a night off clubbing go to Khumaras to watch a sunset (it's right round San An Bay) and nice restaurants to try are KM5 and El Ayouen.
 
ya.. I remember salinas.. great beach..and can get my nude on!! hahah def want to check out Benniras.. will it be a crazy scene watching the sunset in san an? havent heard too many great things about that area!

I don't like sunsets @ Mambos etc cos there's too many beer boys but if you go further round there is Coastline which is nice and does nice food or you could eat @ Kasbah and watch the sunset. I prefer to go the other way and go round the Bay to Khumaras, it's much more local and full of Spanish hippies.

KM5 is my personal fave. Also went to El Ayouen for first time in June and loved it. L'Elephant is meant to be lovely, I keep meaning to go but end up getting too destroyed :roll:

In Ibiza Town, Dalt Villa and La Brasa are another 2 of my faves.
