Oh my what can I say about this place! Having only ever been for dinner there last year, and also canceling staying there once before , we decided to treat ourselves and jet out for a 4 night stay....... worth every penny.
I can't praise this place enough, it's idealic, placed smack in the middle of the beautiful San Carlos countryside it feels like real, rustic Ibiza.
It's surrounded by Orange tree's that are picked and the oranges are left around the hotel to eat ( I feel like I have had enough Vit C for the year) not to mention Lime, Lemon, Pomengranat (sp) tree's, and with the sound of chickens and cows in the distance you feel a million miles away from it all (at least if you live in London)
Our room was perfect, an extra suprise was our own plunge pool (ask for Romano if you book
) plus 3 other pools, one of which is an amazing infinity pool, pure heaven.
The spa is a must do and can be used even if your not staying at Atzaro for a day fee or by booking a treatment. It's so peaceful and IMO takes some beating, fantastic smoothies too.
Food is fantastic too, I loved the lunch menu, so healthy and yummy. I ate the tofu, veg, brown rice stir fry 3 days running. Evening menu also good, highly rec the mushroom risotto with lobster.
When we booked we were a bit concerned about paying out and it not being worth it, but it so so is. The attention to detail, friendly staff, and amazing setting are second to none.
I would definatly stay again, better get saving I guess.
