Hello

 Has anyone recently stayed at the Atzaro Apartments part of the Club La Noria complex or Osiris Apartments both in Playa den Bossa?

Review of rooms, service etc would be great.

Thanks

I've stayed in Atzaro last year. I probably wouldn't do it again.

It's rated 4-star but I haven't figured out why, exactly. We had a one bedroom apartment but the quality level of it was no better than the 3-star studio apartment we had at Garbi Aparthotel (other than size, but I think Garbi has one bedroom places too). Don't get me wrong - it was a nice room, but our balcony view was of the neighboring building in the La Noria complex.

They clean your room once every 3 days or something like that, according to policy. You've got to ask for them to do it more often and they don't often oblige.

Plus we had to leave deposits for everything from remote control to phone line (other places do this too, but at Garbi, for example, they waved the remote deposit since I was already paying a second-key deposit).

Getting there is kind of a pain too. They fenced off the territory so that you have to enter from around the back. I found it annoying to walk 3 blocks to get to the main street in PdB when you know you should only have to walk half a block. Also, the one-way streets in that area make driving up to the place a little complicated (driving out of there is faster).

It's not that we didn't enjoy our stay at Atzaro, but I felt it was overpriced for what we got. Garbi was cheaper and, while our room was smaller, it was cleaned daily and we had a sea view.

i've stayed in the atzaro and thought it was perfectly good for the money. we're going back for a night in a couple of weeks before checking into a villa, then I'm booked there again for 4 nights for space closing.

all i need is a clean room with good aircon, which is what you get. no sea view and not much in the way of facilities - a couple of small pools and a volleyball court as i remember, plus a small bar.

the in-room tv has at least one english speaking channel which is always a bonus.

as morbyd says the building is a little set back from the main drag but it's still only 5 mins walk to the bars, beach etc

overall i'd recommend it, although i'm not sure how it stacks up value-wise against other places, and if you're set on a sea view then forget it.

All true.... but it is a value for money proposition. You can spend the same or less and get a seaview and clean room (that gets regular maid service).

Garbi has 1 English channel too (CNN... plus Sky w/o sound for some reason).

When we stayed at Atzaro for 2 weeks, that extra 5 minute walk got annoying after a while.

Atzaro has good parking though...
