Assertiveness Courses

hiya,

Know it's a bit random, but I was wondering if any of you knew of any companies who run assertiveness courses throughout the UK?

Only one I have heard of is Dale Carnegie and I'm looking into that, but would like to find out if there's any others. Tried google etc, but not really anything there and word of mouth tends to be better.

My work run them, but the 2 that are scheduled have people on that I would rather not be with so was looking for alternatives. :x

Any help would be great, if this has disappeared over the page by tomorrow I'll take the hint

Have you tried looking at websites for Unis or colleges which are close to you? Glasgow Uni do an assertiveness course but I think it may only be open to staff. Colleges sometimes run evening classes.

yeh, it was the staff one at Glasgow Uni that popped up on google first it looked good aswell!! Will keep looking around though.

No, I lost the course syllabus and didn't feel comfortable ringing them for another copy.

Plus I thought you were going and didn't want anyone to ask me awkward questions...

We spoke about this, you know, the night we went for burger? You remember - you had the 'Extrovert's Burger' - 2 1/4 pounders in a sesame seed bun, lettuce, mayo, tomato sauce, all the trimmings and I had the 'Introverts Burger', well it was just a plain bun but I didn't like to say..............
