Meant to be going to Majorca (yeah yeah....alright. let me explain!) for a week on Tuesday.

We booked it with the intention of Man Utd getting to the CL Final and therefore didn't want to wait til they had got there as the prices would go up ridiculously

Obviously if they didn't get to the final (and they didnt :() we would still have a week's holiday to look forward too.

We wanted it to be cheap as possible. I looked at Ibiza, but the flights from Ibiza to Madrid were quite expensive and we found return flights to Madrid on Ryan Air for €44.

All in all. We've paid £300 for:

- Return flights from Manchester to Palma
- 7 nights accomodation in Palma
- Return flights from Palma to Madrid
- 1 night accomodation in Madrid

Which is quite reasonable.

Despite the disapointment of United not being in the CL final. I was quite looking forward to getting away from the dull skies of Manchester.

However. It's looking like this bastard volcano ash cloud is going to prevent us from going.

We should get most of our money back. We'll probably only take a hit on the €44 flights from Palma to Madrid. Which isn't too bad I guess.

I'm thinking this money could be re-invested into a holiday to Ibiza instead in a few weeks time....when the dust has settled.....

Every ash cloud has a silver lining. :D

We're meant to be going to Ibiza on thursday. At present Glasgowe airport is still open and i've read disruption could be up until the 19th. So fingers crossed I make it out.

Not bothered about coming home....
