Another interesting thing to do off the beaten path.

Would be perfect when combined with a beach day somewhere up in the northeast.

I've been to the weekly San Miguel market (by the description, a similar affair). Bought some of the best chorizo I've had there 8)

Looks nice. Early evening opening hours a plus as we sometimes like to eat right after the beach, especially if we're near a restaurant of interest that's on the other side of the island from where we're staying.

Although I was thinking the trip would be good combined with a stop at Paloma in San Lorenzo
(a restaurant long on my list which I've yet to get around to visiting!)
