I challenge any of you who think that Trance is a non-stopping train to cheeseville to listen to his new album ' A State of Trance 2004'

I think his new night @ Amnesia will be huge this year and who knows in a couple of seasons may even overtake Cream as Amnesia's key night.

This guy has it right now...
and not a strain on the eye either!! ===>>>

I would recommend it Babs... the closest thing to compare it too is how Oakie used to play. Its very progressive and not at all cheesy.

If you like/your keeper likes the old Oakenfold style its well worth the money! ;)

Even I like the Oakenphant of old so I shall definitely go out and purchase it on the pretence of present for Tom  ;)

Armin is huge ! ive seen him befor and every set of his is good he plays quite abit of progressive aswell as uplifting trance !

Btw cd is good !

He's okay as far as trance DJ's are concerned, but i still find his latest CD 'cheesy'.

There are some decent tracks on it, but still too much cheese IMO.

I think out of ferry corsten, AVB and Tiesto, only Ferry Corsten has broken away from the uplifting cheesy sound and delved into more interesting stuff like techno and electro influences in the stuff he plays.

I find it interesting that Remy and Harry Lemon will be guests at AVB's night At Amnesia............both those guys play driving, funky, techy prog whereas Armin still really plays uplifting trance.

Maybe we weren't listening to the same CD ... no predictive breaks or cheesy lyrics on mine!
