Popping energy pills as we speak. :D :D :D Three greats all in one show, and it only cost about $35. Lost some friends to Tiesto and Deep Dish tonight in Vegas  . Doubt they will have a bettah time than yours truly!! Love Deep Dish, but you'd have to pay ME to see Tiesto lol. Be back with the report of course. :D :D :D :D ps. Not as excitable as usual tonight... I feel the sniffles coming on :? :x

Utterly EXHAUSTED now, almost 5:30 AM (and apparently talking to myself like to total jackass lol).

Just DISGUSTING that someone could be that talented. If I could think of a word for Armin right now, the first one that comes to mind is PURE.

Pure love, pure innocence, pure beauty, pure euphoria, pure captivation, pure RIDICULOUSNESS lol. WOWOWOWOW what a show. One of those sets where it takes no thinking or energy to move your torso... the beats order it to gyrate without any effort involved.

Boris MD... what a pro at starting the party and rolling out the red carpet for the also incredible Markus Schulz. Boris was buzzing about the club for a lot of the night and "mingling with the commoners" with a bright smile... it was nice to see. Markus elevated the mood even more and got everyone jumping in the air before Armin even graced the decks.

Armin played pretty much everything I wanted to hear... from ASOT 2005 to Armada Ibiza to 76... with even a few PvD and old school Tiesto mixes thrown in. The ending song... a brilliant mix of "Yet Another Day" where he cranked up the volume and bass to maximum levels. I can't write anymore... my little paws are done for....

Goodnight all, and hope you had as great a night as I did. -xo PG :P

Good to hear, good to hear.

Im listening right now to Armin´s State of Trance 2005 and the quality of the music is awesome, unique, so i can imagine you had a great night.

Ill try to go see him at Armada this year.

I would have won either way apparently. A couple friends went just for Deep Dish, but they said Tiesto was a lot better than they expected as well. It goes without saying that DD killed it. 8) My girl said she had chills for their entire set... the transitions were EVIL.

Love u 2, MrSt0NeD :D :D :D

And the best part was... right before that grand finale, he turned on all the lights, pretended to say his goodbyes, but left one speaker running. He tooled around all nonchalant for about five minutes (that TRICKSTER :P ) and all the exhausted fans kinda stood there waiting to see what he was going to do. Then, like a lightning bolt, he cut the lights, flipped on the lasers and blew us away with the sound of several signature trance anthems. The crowd was roaring... it was a perfect and moving conclusion.

one of my friends, went to Armada every week, yeah he's an Armin addict, he told me about his greatest night ever in his life!! after Armin was done with his set, went down to the crowd and chilled with everyone.. This may sound sorta hippie-ish... but he seems to have a beautiful, calm aura about him. It is extremely evident while observing him in action. He has the sweetest face, such a genuine smile... and the way he interacted with his fellow DJ's as well as the promoters, fans, and crew... he was not at all dismissive.... I can't find ANY trace of an ego. One of the things I love about Sander as well.

What a wonderful experience for you. I am praying he keeps this sort of "youth" in an industry where many have gone sour from the fame. I have heard nothing but praise about this man as a person. I am friends with one of the promoters that put on the show, and he said Armin was an absolute delight to be around.

PG,

I saw him 3 weeks ago. Awesome set as usual. I've seen him many times and every show is bang on. After the show he hung out, signed autographs, and chatted. We had a good chat about music, trends, and Ice-Godskitchen-neil moffit (he was spinning there the following weekend). Great guy.

Either he's a great actor, or he really does enjoy every set he spins (versus just going through the motions).

Oops, shame on me for spelling that wrong.

Maybe asinine isn't the word. I realize that a forum is a place to post your opinions, no matter what they are. But it seemed very rude etiquette for you to post such a blatantly negative comment in my thread, where the vibes were so overwhelmingly positive and in praise of Armin. It seemed you were just posting to interrupt the party and cause a stir rather than voice your opinion. It could have been said better IMOP.

It would be like me diving in to your James Zabiela post with a big fat "James Zabiela SUCKS!!" (I don't think that at ALL by the way) Wouldn't you be a little preturbed?

I also just lowered myself by calling your comment asinine. Might I say that I fiercely disagree with it instead.
