Has anyone got this??

Got it today and I cannot recommend it enough, it's this random mix of stuff like Blondie, Felix Da hosuecat, Black Betty etc etc but it just works so well. It is an absolute classic, go buy it now :D
 
i was soo gonna make a post of this, cos i was soo gonna buy it today, but didn't.

Don't you think there are a lot of random stuff out at the mo. i mean there's this new tom middleton mix cd 'the trip' and then theres that new coldcut cd 'journeys'

I only went into the little HMV in Ealing and there was so much stuff I could have bought, really interesting different stuff as well like the Van Helden and the ones you mentioned. It's good tho, a refreshing change instead of the usual compilations just full of the latest big tunes mixed in a different order :roll:

I would definitely recommend you buy the Armand one Rob, it will be right up your street.
 
It's a great Cd with some good new records mixed with dance classics.

It's a great new concept and I like It.................so I totaly agree with barbie and robo....Buy this one!!!!

I am listening to it now for the 4th time and I would say it is one of best compilations ever, this one isn't going to be leaving my CD player for a long while :D

Cannot wait to see the man himself again next Thursday @ Fabric :D
 
I agree with everything u people said here about this album.

It cleary features the diffrences between the electro sounds of the 80's to the ones we got today.
A refreshing new idea for an electronic dance music album!
 
Wasn't too sure about this one at first, seemed a bit too freaky to a house purist like me ;)

But seriously, AvH is a great producer, never saw him as a DJ so this might give me a good impression.

I wouldn't say it's a new concept!

Checked out the listing in Fopp today, and I have to admit that there are some tasty tracks on there, although I might have to skip to the next track when one of AVH's comes on.

Just finished hearing Armand's essential mix for the second time and i really like this funked up electro house set. Great work by the Van Helden.
Hopefully this summer he'll do his work properly and wont get booed off some club on the island ;)
