Armada?

I didnt go but two of my mates did and comparing it to Cream on the Thursday night they thought it was much better and not as crowded.
If you like your Trance Van Burren was spot on apparently.

went to the opening. here's my opinion:

a) bit less crowded, more room to dance
b) better crowd, less "i jump around like mad and knock everybody else down" people
c) in terms of music, cream is still no1 for trance on ibiza. the opening was very progressive over long phases and not very melodic. so, often a bit too boring for my liking.

Armada rocks! 8)
Armin, Markus Schulz, Perry O'Neil, Remy, Harry Lemon, need to say more? ;)

Here in Holland the parties are excellent as well! :)

Look who had just woke up!

Get your arse on MSN more often girlie :D

Too bad we'll miss one another in Ibiza this summer again

i might check armada out this year. really undecided. dont want to go to cream but fancy my yearly slice of PvD. But dont wanna miss and chances to go to viva, or carl cox.

what an awesome dilema.

went there last tuesday, not yesterday.

nick warren was as good as always and armin, well, tiesto is no longer number one...

go and see it, not as much drunk englishman in soccershirts as it is at Cream and Manumission....

Armada is a really good night. Less people than Cream and more people interested in the music.
Armin has been ridiculous lately. Has anyone been listening to the recent ASOT radio shows? They've been so good. Armin has risen in my books so much in the last couple of years. He's a consummate professional- He loves what he's doing and it comes across in his music and his DJing!

Couldn't agree more, over the last year or so, Armin has really been out there on his own, overtaking PVD and Tiesto as the best Trance dj around, seen him last week at Global Gathering in Ireland (about the fifth time I've seen him in the last 12 months) and he absolutely rocked it, even playing for an extra half hour because Paul Oakenfold was late! Am really looking forward to seeing him at Armada for the closing party on Sept 13th!

quite a good chance still of picking up free tix for the armada nights this year, same as last year - this year at least true for 26.07. (friends there) and last year even for the closing (we were there)

nevertheless, as they took last year even for the closing only between 10-25 euros (!) it should be on every trancer´s calendar.

we´ll be there on 06.09. for Nick and Armin (apart from visiting Armin this Saturday at the Dance Valley of course :) )

quick story about Armin-

In June, went down to New York with some friends to see Armin at a club called Spirit (the old Twilo)- It was a stormy night, with lots of wind and thunderstorms. Didn't think much about it. Went in around 1:00, expecting him to go on shortly thereafter- waited and waited for Armin to go on. Finally around 4 am, Armin showed up and Remy came on the PA to say sorry for the delay, there were travel problems and Arminb will play extra-late. Armin killed it until 8 am.

Here's the cool part. Turns out Armin's plane (an international flight) could not land in NY because of the weather and was diverted to Washington DC, landing around 11:00. He hired a car to drive him from DC to NY, which is about a 4 hour drive, and arrived at just about 4 am. By looking at the bags under his eyes you could see how tired he was, but by the way he held himself and the way he played, you would have never known. When he finished at 8, he hung out to talk with his fans and sign autographs. So cool.

We went last year to both cream and armada. Armada was a much better night. Less busy, nice people, top tunes. Will be there for the closing party.
Saw Marcus Shcultz at global gathering at the weekend and was very impressed. Armin was quality as usual

If its anything like last year it pisses all over cream. Cream is good but armade is the nuts. As everyone has said its not as busy but its not quiet. People there are sound as a pound! Also it was good value for money as well. last year it was €12 a ticket when we got them and that was the closing party.

How much are tickets this year? Also how much are meganite tickets?
