Armada @ Amnesia

Looks like a really good night - anyone went last year got any reviews of it? Also do the ice cannons come on @ Armada or is that just Cream?

I went twice last year and had a blast when AVB was there....not so much fun with Paul Oakenfold. Unfortunately they did not use the ice cannons last year. However, they did use them at Armada the year before so I'm not sure what their rhyme and reason is behind it....
 
Yes, I would definately recommend it. It's one of the more inexpensive nights on the island and the crowd is down to earth and up for partying. It's also nowhere near as rammed as Cream. You'll have a great time.
 
really can't recommend armada enough. great night simply!!! and this year, with having "contact" on the terrace, things look even better IMO! i mean, if you're not into trance, you can still have a blast that night on the terrace with sharam, mark knight & co...

Thought I'd rehash this oldie rather than start my own.

Has anyone been to Armada yet? Me and a mate are going to Ibiza in a week or so and he's never been before so I'm obviously wanting to impress. He's a bit of a trance head and with me wanting to take hime to Space, Amnesia and Pacha at least, it looks like it's either Armada or Cream for Amnesia.

My question is, is there a chance that the place could be emptyish on an Armada night in mid July? I'd hate to be showing off this class club with not so many people in, or would you play safe and just go to Cream?

well, i've been to all 3 armada parties this season (so far) and the main room was always busy. so, to answer your question: no way it's gonna be empty in a few weeks time!
 
wast the opening party,really good night,no were near as busy as cream,tune were excelent,also marcus schulz played a cracking set.and also girls get a ticket for 10euro(handy as i was there with my g/f).also pre partys at itaca marcus schulz was playin the opening party.
 
Armada@Amnesia smashes cream.

Van Buuren is quality and has got some really good dj's with him this year.

Went to Cream for the first time last year, just found it ****e. Overrated, expensive and didn't get the atmosphere. Also im not a lover of PVD.

Armin just different class, and Amnesia is the best place to be on a Tuesday.

possibly explains y u didnt like cream then 8)

Armada's class, didnt have ice cannons on but they do have a predator looking dude with ice guns that walks round blasting it everywhere its ace

Yeah, I kept jumping under that spray to cool me down last year.

I will give cream another crack this year. Mainly cos its Above and Beyond and Ottaviani.

Iv made an effort with PVD, but just find him a flat DJ. Seen him in Ibiza and the UK now, about 6 times overall but he just dont do it for me.

Above&Beyond at Cream... ahhh they were awesome when seen them there b4... possibly had my best night at Cream last yr with A&B, Ferry and Eddie... unreal it was
