Are 70 € per Day enough for Eating & Alcohol

I have planed with my friend to spend 70 € a day on Ibiza for Food and Beer or Jacky... Okay if we want to go to a club it´s clear that we need much more money. 200 I had to pay even 250 DM for one night at Pacha.
 
i wish i had €70 a day to spend on food and beer!

my tip is to look out for bars/restaurants full of spanish people as they to tend to be both the cheapest and the best and therefore give great value for money. there are so many places which do an excellent menu del dia for between €6 and €10 and then in the evening spend your time on 'tapeo' a paseo around the tapas bars... great fun.

you may even see me in one as for me the best thing about ibiza is its lovely bar/cafe scene.

It depends how much you drink and how much you eat. :D

Just for drinks and food a spent around 100 €
 
If you want to save money why not buy food from the supermarkets etc...??? You will find a great selection of meats and bread, I make some lethal sandwiches for my lunches out there :P

You can also pick up drinks cheaper too :P
 
Yes of course we want to cook in the appartement but when i have holidays I like to go eating instead of cooking all time and wash and dry the disshes...
Does anyone know if the Jack Daniels is more expensive in one of thoose little supermarkets as in Germany. There we spend about 15 € for a 0,7 L bottel...because i haven´t seen a big store like e.g. WalMart...we stay in Santa Eulalia
 
€70 per day is plenty for food and drink. You can get nice meals/tapas in most bars for under €10. I've never stayed in Santa Eulalia but i doubt it will be as expensive as areas like San Antonio etc.
 
I'd say that's plenty.

HOWEVER, if you're wanting to go to the trendy bars in Ibiza Town and have a few drinks and are also planning on going out clubbing most days and drinking in the clubs, you'd need a bottomless pit of money.
 
If you play it smart..that should be enough. I didn't :oops: !!! You can easily spend twice that much on any given day. Especially if you intend to hit a club. I highly reccomend to visit a supermarket to buy some preclub booze, whatever your taste. 70 euros will go fast in one day if you dont....example

Club pass = around 28 euros
3 drinks at club = 24 euros

That leaves you with 12 euros ( for breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. / not very much )

Good luck...but stick to a smart budget.
 
for cheap supermarket drink, find a large spanish supermarket, not one of them small ones for tourists. we got a litre of smirnoff for 11 Euros, the cheapest for miles around.
