Rumour mill: Chelsea offer SWP swap deal
CHELSEA have reportedly offered Shaun Wright-Phillips back to City in a deal that would see Blues starlets Micah Richards and Daniel Sturridge move to Stamford Bridge.
Wright-Phillips has failed to settle at Chelsea and spent much of last season warming the bench. A nightmare year for the little winger was rubber-stamped when Sven-Goran Eriksson chose to leave him out of England's World Cup party.
Chelsea paid £21million for Wright-Phillips, but Jose Mourinho is prepared to offer the player back to City in return for cash and the two players, claims the Daily Mirror.

Pearce, who tried to get Wright-Phillips back on loan in January, would be reluctant to lose highly-rated youngsters Richards and Sturridge.
