Apartments with Dependable Wifi

Hello, all,

Ibiza Spotlight reservations hasn't responded yet, so maybe one of you could help me! I will be working while in Ibiza (I know, I know) and need to stay in an apartment that has a dependable wifi connection. Any recommendations?

I know the Squash Apartments have wifi available in the bar area (I believe), but I'm not buying a beer every hour just to use it.

I like the Bon Sol Prestige, but I'm getting the family vibe from it. No offense to happy families, but I don't want evil looks as I crawl through the lobby at 2 p.m.:? If I'm wrong, pleeeeaaaase let me know! I really like this place!

OKay...one more...I'm planning on staying in the Figueretes/Playa den Bossa area. Are there more places in this area that offer wifi? There's a post about wifi, but it's a bit dated. I'm thinking of coffee shops, bars etc. Do they charge or is it a drink minimum? Ugh...I think that's it.

Much obliged,

Becca

Garbi Hotel has free wifi (one of the reasons I stay there every year). If you go hang out in theiir bar/pool area you can use it and I don't think they monitor how many drinks you have! I've had a friend come over from Bali Beach next door and use it for hours undisturbed.

Sal Rossa apartments, right on the beach in Playa den Bossa, are good value and while the description on Spotlight doesn't mention it, I've seen elsewhere that they have free Wifi in the rooms. Maybe doublecheck when you book?

Thank you, Morbyd! This is good to know! I'll ask about the Sal Rossa Apts.

Los Rosales Apartements (Bon Sol group) offer wifi in their rooms and are inexpensive. I sent an inquiry about their cancellation policy about 2 days ago. Has anyone stayed here? My interest begins to curdle like milk...especially where booking inquiries are involved.

The word 'reliable wifi' in Ibiza is sort of funny. Don't expect super speeds anywhere. If you are checking basic email, internet you will be fine.

I've stayed at Hotel Garbi and their wifi was consistent and the hotel is just beautiful. Garbi is more of a clubbers hotel with international travellers so you will meet some amazing people!

ps. I forgot to mention that Wifi is available in all rooms at Garbi, not just the bar areas.

yes had a vist the other week.desk gave me a quick look at a room.but people were in so a quick nose round, very smart.set back from the main road in a quite area.shame no ones bought the old atps next door.put the rest of the area to shame pity.and the make shift rooms next door put me off a bit.

Thanks everyone!!!! I ended up booking an apartment at Los Rosales...part of the Bon Sol mafia. :? All of their apartments have wifi available 24/7. Hopefully it won't suck! I'll need to get on for 2-3 hours a day tops.
