i've no idea mate but im stayin in the bay too! hope it don't let me down! :?

I stayed in the bay in May and it was great. It is quieter than San An but its only a twenty minute stroll or 5 min bus/taxi into San An, wasn't a problem for us at all. You can get a ferry across to San An too, altho we didn't figure that one out! Kinda depends on what you're looking for - if you're not bothered being a bit outside the centre of San An, then you'll be happy.

Oh yeah, there's a big supermarket there (just up the road from the Zodiac apts) that sells mega mega cheap alcohol, so stock up the fridge! :D

I really like staying in the Bay - as its been mentioned plenty of times before, it still has a great atmosphere, but its far enough away from the mayhem of San An itself to get some peace when you need it :D

As for the ferry across the Bay, look on the beach for where you can hire the Jet skis from - once you see where the jet ski's park, the ferry ( not sure if this is the only one or if there are more? ) is about 50 - 75 metres further round the beach - you will easy see the jetty where the ferry noors.

Its on the beach in frond of Hotel Milord - not quite as far round as Kumharas, but not that far from it.

I would definitely recommend catching the ferry - its a lot cheaper than a taxi and its a lot cooler / comfier (sp?) than sitting on the bus - but I think they only run until midnight though :?
