Apartments in San An?

Can anyone recommend and apartments in the San An area? I'm looking for a fairly decent apartment 2 or 3 * (preferably 2 bedroom) with air con being a must. I don't want the apartment to be too geared towards families as I'm going there on a lads holiday and peace & quiet isn't what I am looking for.

Anyone have any experiences to share? There doesn't seem many such apartments advertised on here

As you can prob guess I'm an Ibiza newbie

Cheers 8)

casa maria...

hey ive been looking at the casa maria apartments-looks like an awesome location- but what are the beds like??? Are they all single kinda sofa things??? normally i wouldnt care but its kinda going to be a naughty week away with my boy and ahem id rather be in a double bed! Are all the rooms like the one in the picture from the website?

Also does anybody know anthing about the Brisa hotel or Florencio???? Any advice would be much appreciated!!!

I don't know if they do double beds, but it's a cracking place to stay! Be aware though, like most hotels in Ibiza, they frown upon guests in rooms at nights.

I presume they are no such restrictions on apartments?

why are hotels in ibiza so strick on if you have one extra person in your room at night, i mean who cares. i booked a single room for just myself for a month and i'm paying a decent amount of money and a few months after booking they tell me no friends can visit or stay over even for just one night, its not welcoming to say the least.

Also I'm sure guys and even some girls go alone to Ibiza or in groups of two and bring back a girl/guy for the night, is this such a big deal?

are you not allowed to have vistors at night or anytime? Going solo the point is to meet new people (friends) and without time to get together in your rooms and so on it makes things harder.

Isn't that the same for most hotels in the world? Its so they dont lose out on money!

How come you're living on your own for a month? You out there yet?

It does seem juvenile but I suppose they don't want overcrowding or big parties to start. Each guest should be allowed at least one guest back to their room.

I have booked an apartment that can cater for up to 5 people but there are only 2 of us checking in. Does anyone know if there will be a problem having people back there?

It's the same practically everwhere. For two main reasons:
1) Regardless of wht goes on elsewhere you need to remember that Spain, including Ibiza is still largely a Catholic country.

2) Most hotels and apartment complexes don't want unknown people in there who can't be held accountable in instances of theft or vandalism.

I understand the reason so they don't lose money and also that its a Catholic country but come on if you have one friend and yes I do say friend over for a night or two, who really cares, whats the big fuss.

Well I have booked an apartment that can accomodate up to 5 people - I should be allowed to have at least 5 people in that apartment. It makes sense?

From my point of view, and I am spanish and a girl is just a question of money, they don't want people booking a bedroom for 1 or 2 and then being 3. No other reasons.
Money makes the world go round, the world go round;)
