Apartments in Figuretes 2013

Not long been back and now thinking ahead to next year. I'm looking for SC apartments in Figuretes. We have vowed not to stay in PDB again, visted Es Cana, Santa Eullalia which are a bit too quiet and San An on the other side of the island we want to stay so decided on Figuretes. Have looked at the SC apartments on Spotlight and walked passed them many times but don't seem to be the nicest and we are looking for something a bit more comfortable and not just somewhere to get our heads down. Does anyone know somewhere that fits the description, either holiday accommodation or private rental (who dont ask for exorbitant deposits)

Cheers

Llevant Apartments, opposite Es Vive?

Spacious with big fridge and great air con.

Perhaps not quite the luxury you are after, but a great location nonetheless.

Cheers, will have a look. When I say luxury I mean a kitchen with a toaster and a bit of cutlery!

Playa Sol II on the same road as Es Vive.

Very competitively priced, although not luxurious, v. clean, great air con, snag a room at the front and you have the perfect apartment for a holiday.

Never stayed at Llevant, but eaten there several times, breakfast with the sea splashing a few feet away, great location and staff are great.

Figueretas is a great location to be based imo, once you have enjoyed the area, would be surprising if you ever stayed anywhere else!

We just found ourselves wondering along the front and stopping there quite a bit for dinner (by day 8 I craved something will chilli in it so went to the Chinese) and stopped a few times at that bar called Haddock for wine and sharing plates of ham and cheese, and its nearer to the bus station in town to get around and love Ibiza town at night.

We have eaten at Haddock zillions of times, wifey became addicted to their tuna toast:D Walking along the Figueretsa promenade and into town either over the hill or via road is my favourite evening stroll ever.

piss take or r u serious :?: :?:

Deadly serious8)

The accommodation in the area is generally not 5*, but as a location, I personally think it is hard to beat...

The walk south into PDB (either via road or beach) is fabulous. The walk into town is even better.

The area is not over-run by Brits abroad, and is great for amazing sunrise enjoyment, what is there not to like about the area? We never stayed there in peak season so it might be a totally different story in July / August.

One negative I would admit, the beach generally seems less clean than other parts of the island.

Pretty much sums up how I feel about the resort as well.

I like the fact that while the resort offer you the basic amenities - beach, restaurants etc. You have to travel to either Pd'B or Ibiza Town for the nightlife. In that sense, it's great as a hub, but also encourages you to travel out. Perfect.

We just found it a bit more relaxing, PDB is as mental as all my other stays there and if you want to catch the bus to other parts of the island you have to either walk to the bus station in town or catch a bus to it first. Maybe if we didnt have such noisy neighbors playing absolute bollocks at all hours we have taken a different view. Quite enjoyed Talamanca as well but its a bit of a trek around the marina to get to the old town. The streets back from the sea in Figuretes has some interesting places to eat and drink and the roads leading up to town, think this is the first holiday ive been on where we spent just as much on food as we did going to space and sankeys, sign of things to come ;)

try a hotel then if you spent a lot on food.but try to get up in time for breakfast.

Never really fancied a hotel, like the room to rattle around in plus the chance to make a bit of breakfast or lunch before heading out when I want. We spent a lot on food as we ate lunch out 8 out of 10 days and ate out every night

We have eaten at Haddock zillions of times

So have we :) Home Loos does good tapas too which is also nearby.

I've stayed in the Llevant a couple of years ago. Apartments were pretty spacious and we had a sea view, we had a 2 bedroom for 5 of us. No pool but 2 seconds to the beach. Would consider staying here again.

I preferred the Jabeque which is on the same road. Very basic kitchen but a nice pool area with 2 pools and day beds. The apartments themselves were a bit nicer and better general facilities Again a lovely sea view.

Our friend was across the road in the Playa Sol 2 but said our apartment in the Jabeque was loads nicer.

This is my favourite area as it's only a 10 - 15 minute walk into PDB but it's pretty quiet at night. You've got the Figueretas promenade with restaurants right next to you and it's close enough for a nice stroll into Ibiza Town.

I've also stayed a couple of times in the Luxmar which is the Ibiza Town end of Figueretas. Nice enough apartments (top floor rooms have mahoosive balconies) but not as easy to get into PDB and a bloody nightmare trying to get a taxi as it's at the end of a cul de sac.

Out of the above I would go for the Jabeque if the prices were pretty much the same :)

sent plh a pm about the Luxmar atps.all mentioned are run by gps.playa sol 1 atps are nice.smallest pool on the island if you can call it a pool.

Mar y Playa, I am sitting on the fourth floor seafront right now.
You won't find a better place in Figueretas imo !

Mar y Playa nice go for that one.
