Apartment choice!?!?!?

I am going to the island for the first time the last week of August.......we booked a 2 bedroom place at Jet Apartments.....good choice?? or total f*ck-up??

The only downside to these apartments is that they are directly under the flight path to the airport and so air traffic noise is a problem. They are above bora bora and 5 minutes walk from space. A taxi into ibiza town or pacha will take 10 mins including time for heavy traffic.
 
Great choice, I'd say. I went back in 2003 and I believe they've put in air-conditioning now in all the rooms and done them up a bit (the lack of AC was a pain as the bedrooms have no windows so become like a sauna - not ideal after a heavy night).

I'd maybe try to put in a request for a top room, near the beach if you can (we did and got it). It's lovely being so close to Bora Bora and we'd sit out on the balcony and listen at night before heading out if we weren't actually there, although last year the ****ty place next door seemed to crank up their soundsystem to play rubbish.

They were fairly basic, but clean and the towels and bedding were changed frequently. Also, there were virtually no clubbers or 18-30 loud types so you feel fine coming back after a night out.
 
we wanted to get the jet apts! but had to settle of Sal rossa apartments! anyone know what their like!!? :roll:

stayed in sann ann last year, was ok but we ended up forkin out quite a bit of money in taxis to go to bora bora space etc..

sol rossa appts are fine i stayed in them about 2 years ago nice staff,nice bar to see footy ect,a famliy place really ,next door to jet,so use jets front if busy.good nice cheapo food as well,
