hi basically im a lad going away with 2 mates to ibiza in july and none of us are majorly into dance. Dont get me wrong we like the classics but dont think we would really love the more unknown stuff. i know you might say 'why go to ibiza then' but i want to experience the whole atmosphere ive heard so much about. Ne way i wud appreciate it if any1 could tell me the places to go in san an or around that accomodate for different tastes than purely dance i.e. rnb/hip hop, rock etc

Cannot remember the name but there is a club playing rock in the West End
 
there are places that do this kind of music as listed above. global room in pacha ould b a good one. but i reckon if its the ibiza expierence you are seekin you need to travel out of san an you can do this cheeply on buses. go to clubs that are open durin the day like space and dc10. and go to bora bora. think they will play the kind of stuff you are trying to avoid but you should jus check them out you never no you might change your mind! if you want to go to get the ibiza expierience i really dont think you will get it in a bar in the west end as you can do that any other island. first time i went i went to places that do commercial dance but the other places are so much better this year i cant wait to go i love the music so much now lets see if we cant convert you too! ;) :D
 
cheers you 2 its good to know i can catch a bit of rnb in the clubs, thought they were purely dance.
yeah im gunna check bora bora n that out and i know ill have a gr8 time, i dont hate the dance music just wondered if there was any other alternative to it sometimes.

in the clubs they do sometimes play the odd song here an there you may not be expectin an its always great to here somethin bit different. a good rush too! glad to b of help. hav a gooden. :D
 
I can forgive you for being a blade....
Seriously though 'Sheffields favourite House club' Hustle is in San Antonio every Monday afternoon and some Thursday nights.
You might see some familiar faces while youre there.
