Anything Goes Girlie Thread

As it's Friday afternoon (and Babs is a bit pissed  ) I was thinking we should have a general girlie thread where we can share girlie advice on those important things in life :D

I'll start:

Lipglosses - now I am addicted to lipglosses, I buy 100s from every make imaginable but I still can't get anything to top Juicy Tubes - any advance on Juicy Tubes :D

Also, this is a question from Tom - you know those tanning moisturisers like the ones Johnsons started, which of those is the best?? He wants to slap a bit on before Ibiza?? I prefer the L'Oreal one but he's been told Dove is best, any more for any more

I have a million juicy tubes :) I love the blue one at the moment. Bought off an ebay shop for £6 :)

There are so many imitations of juicy now, ZARA do one for £3 just as good.

My hair always get stuck on my lips when I wear it though

I have been slapping on the Johnsons stuff, no difference, but I have fairly dark skin so perhaps thats why I haven't noticed any difference??????

I have a question

What type of top can I wear under a luxe material vest?

Advice for tom: I use mens clarins fake tanner on my face - it's a bit darker than holiday skin type stuff but not as dark as st tropez - looks very natural indeed, and he wont look orange.

I'm also going to experiment using it on my body because I figure it's cheaper than a spray tan and I don't want to go as dark as a spray tan will make me cos I think I'll look a bit stupid

Oh, and it's £16 a tube, so more expensive than holiday skin or something, but then it is stronger, and imo the colours better.

Babs -

I use this tanning moisturiser for my sun-kissed look ;) It's not that dear, £10.50 a bottle, it smells really nice, you whack it on, leave it for 10mins before putting your clothes on then it's dry. I really like it, it gives colour without looking orangey.

That's his predicament, normally he has a few sunbeds before he goes but he hasn't this year and he thinks a spray might be a bit full on 8O He's a bit scared of proper take tans since he borrowed some Clinique facial tanner of mine years ago, didn't really know what to do, put 3 coats of it on cos he couldn't see it working, by the time he got to the airport he looked like Carl Cox's skinny brother

I'll recommend the Clarins, the ladieeez Clarins face stuff is nice and subtle.

Is that a recommendation for Tom?? He's scared of the actual FAKE TAN thing, whereas he thinks tanned moisturiser is less full on

I'm going to intensively sunbath all weekend and lunch breaks until I go then do a triple layer of clarins

So any spotlighter should be able to spot me on the terrace

There's lot of imitations but I still always find I go back to Juicy Tube.

What is luxe material :?

It's not fake tan it's a tanned moisturiser, it's like a cream you just rub it on like you would a normal moisturiser. It lasts about 2/3 days or you can wash it off if you dont like it. You need to put at least 2 coats on for a proper brown look though. Read the spec ;)

yeah it's really subtle - I use it throughout winter and it's lovely. My mum always says now 'well you do look well' whilst previously she'd berate me on not eating vegetables

Ah I get you, sorry the packaging is similar to their proper fake tans. Well at least that's Sunday taken care of then finding a suitable tanning moisturiser for Tom

 I've got issues with Elizabeth Arden tho, I used to buy the 8 Hour Cream all the time but since they started using CZJ on their advertising I refuse to buy any of their products
