Anyone used Atlas Choice car rental?

Been looking at Autos Maris for a car rental in July for a week, we are looking for a large family car or two little ones. We have two kids (needing car seats!) and 4 adults in the party.

Autos Maris are actually more expensive than we'd hoped but after a bit of searching, Travelsupermarket offered us Atlas Choice with a rental at a very very low rate. Almost half the price of Autos Maris.

Has anyone used this company? or any other budget company through a comparison site? any experience?

Thanks in advance. Its our first proper family holiday abroad and we want it to go smooooothly :)

I don't know Atlas Choice sorry, but whoever you go with make sure you know what the fuel policy is,full to full tank always works out better.
Used doyouspain once and had a BK car,it was full to empty tank that time, had to move some to (nearly) empty the tank in 7 days,ok that time because we had to go lots of places!
Also used Autos Mari and had very good service, good deal too. You can prebook child or baby seats with them.

Atlas is not a car rental company. It is an intermediary reseller who will allocate you a car with another company that you only find out the identity of after booking and paying. With those sorts of arrangements, that's usually about the time you find out all the small print and extras you'll be paying on arrival ;).

after a bit more research, (googling!) Ive read some pretty awful reviews regarding Atlas Choice...perhaps best to stick with what we know when we have two little 'uns in tow. Autos Mari have been fab in the past, and seems simple enough to keep in contact with them regarding car seat needs etc. As a family of 6, Myself and my husband and the kids, plus my parents.. do you reckon its better to have one BIG car or two wee ones?... we are a bit undecided about whats best. Works out almost slightly cheaper to get two than one people carrier...hmm...
