Anyone use Flickr here?

Cool :) Except I hate iPhoto so I deleted it  And I don't have Tiger yet ;)

What do you use instead? I do hate iphoto, it really annoys me that each time you download pics it creates two folders, the pic and the thumbnail... And I hate more that I can't move or rename those folders :?
I have a library of 9.000 pics and counting, any suggestion?

I wasn't that impress with Tiger, Pep was all excited (he is an applefetichist) but there's just few new things that I never use ;)

Cool thanks Mikkak :D I'll add you too :)

I use some software that came with my canon ixus - it's much better than iPhoto :) It's called imagebrowser and I think you can download it from the Canon site..

I think I won't go to Tiger for quite a while, I'm happy with how my system is running and I don't want to break it!

Will take a look to the canon site.

Tiger is exactly the same than Panter but with a few goodies totally useless to keep applemaniacs happy

So, uh... what's the point of Flickr?

Really easy to use, very mac compatible (actually there's lots of tools for mac that you don't have for pc) and you get 20MB every month :D

So, it's basically a site for posting your photos? What's all this about adding users? To notify you if there's been some new photos or something?

Yes :D
This is my page and if you go to contacts you'll find all my friends and "spontanous friends" I added.
Every time I log in the main page gives you a short report of activity in your pics (comments) and activity in your contacts :D

Sorry... I guess I'm just not sure why you need that much information :?

I've posted my pics on my site. If people want to look, they will. If not, they won't.

It's a photo-based community site, the emphasis is on sharing. Try clicking on Tags and doing a search - some really gorgeous photos on there from all over the world.

For just storing pics I use photobucket.

I only add people I want to see their pics  ;)

I have few friends abroad and flickr is really usefull to see their pics. Even with friends here, they can download pics and there's no need to collapse emails servers with them :D
