Anyone up for a boat/yacht excursion in September?

I think it'd be fun to go out on a boat or yacht and cruise around the island jammin to some tunes, making stops at some of the surrounding islands, watching the sunset on the water, swimming, etc. If you filled the boat or yacht up it would cost anywhere from 75 - 135 Euros per person. The typical boats I'm looking at hold anywhere from 6-8 while some of the yachts can hold 6-12.

Anyone interested in an Ibiza Spotlight boat excursion? We'd like to do it anytime between Sept. 23rd and October 5th.

Here are some pics from the top price range (135pp) to the lower price range (75pp). A lot of the nicer yachts have a nice stereo, fridge, 1 or 2 restrooms, the whole works...some even include a skipper.

I've had a couple of boat trips cancelled on the day in Sep before, it can get a bit choppy....

exactly what i had in mind :D and the bigger the boat the better. there were some amazing cruises with 100-300 people on them in wmc 2004 and it was the highlight of the conference. our group is definitely up for this!

surely they must have a good reason for cancelling on the day? had you paid a downpayment already?

:D

They cancelled because the sea was rough as hell and two boats had already turned back after going out! Got all our money back and that so no real bother.

last year we rented the Gobbi boat, which is the top one for a day, it was beautiful. If you are going to pay the money, its worth paying that bit more. Trust me, you will not regret it. ;)

This sounds like mad fun. I would totally be down to pitch in, and maybe a few of my buddys would too, that is if you didn't mind a few Americans along for the ride??? It would also be sick to get some 1200s and a mixer, I would be down to throw down some records :D

It looks like everyone interested should be in Ibiza on the 23rd. Other dates are bad due to the villa party (24th), WLS closing (25th), DC10 (26th), recover  (27th).

Here's the list so far, nothing definite...just trying to get a count:

So, potentially we have an easy 8 so far. Probably more depending on # of guests and other spotlighters who want to join in the festivities. The Gobbi holds 9 people but they have another yacht that holds 10-12 people but I don't have a price on that one. If more people decide to go I'll get a price for the Sunseeker 37 Tomahawk:

OR there is a few others at http://www.danyboats.com/index3.php you can take a look at. They have a few 11+ passenger yachts.

fantastic mate 8)

i'd be coming with at least 1, possibly 3 friends if everyone's ok with it / there's enough room :)

the more the merrier imo, as long as the boat is big enough for everyone to get our tan ;)
