anyone know spanish law help please...

right......

me and my girlfriend want to come back and work in ibiza this summer but we have a prob.

she was helping someone stop get attacked when the police turned up and searched her.... she was in possesion and duly arrested...

now she had to sign in at court every week on a tuesday and was told they would be in touch with details of a fine or court summuns...

we obviously came home in sept last year while we had the chance..

we want to know how we can find out if the case was closed etc or whther they would pick her up in passport control if we go back

any help would be appreciated

it wasn't exactly bail.....

she was just told to sign in every week... they said if they were going to take it further then they contact her in ibiza or england by feb....

we need to find out how to get in touch with the court and see if the case is closed etc... if its a fine wating for her then we can pay that then we would be ok... but we just dont know the crack and dont know how to find out
 
sounds like conditional bail to me. Sorry don't know an anwser but if it was UK you'd have a warrent out for your arrest so look at it like that.

But then in the UK i've never heard of anyone going to jail for just that unless the original crime was super naughty... just don't be complacent ;)

Post in the spanish forum (in english if you can't write in spanish), I think there's someone around who is lawyer or works with them ;)
