Hi-- anyone heard of these caves you can go into on the island? Ive been trying to find out about it. Also, any recommendations for staying in either Talamanca, Figuretas, or Playa en bossa--hotel recommendations would be nice if anyone has some to offer-we are going for 3 nights in june tue, wed, and thurs

pretty much what you would expect. a big long tunneling hole in the ground.

it does have a brilliant 1970s stylee light and sound show

Can Marca Caves

Hi-- anyone heard of these caves you can go into on the island? Ive been trying to find out about it. The caves are really worth the visit for something different. We had a multi-lingual guide who was very good.

At one point in the tour you come out about two thirds of the way up the cliff-face and there's a great view of the beach plus an island (or very nearly an island) with a fabulous house on it......

What I'd give to live there.......8)

and the fact that they move on from each language (english, spanish, french, italian, german) without pausing..........and some of the literal translations are good also.

reminds me of a school trip to a heineken factory in belgium

you must be mad. your nearest chinese takeaway is about an hour's drive from there! (and then an hour back)

talking of caves you can also visit ses fontanellas near cala salada and there's a cave behind the sa capella restaurant too. also if you go to cala san vicente there's the es culleram cave high up on the cliffs.
