Anyone has any info about Central Playa Hotel in Figueretas?

I was meant to stay there last year. BUT when we arrived there at 4am they had moved us to some APARTMENTS about 0.5km down the road (they were owned by the same company). So even though we had booked 9 hotel rooms we ended up in some apartments for the same price and no refund. :evil: :evil: :x We had no choice as it was radio1 weekend otherwise we would have found another hotel. We were so angry. The hotel looked ok, nothing special. Very close to the beach in Figueratas though.
 
I stayed there 2 years ago, it's quite basic but clean - very friendly staff. the benefit is the location really - 10 mins walk to ibiza town, nr playa d'en bossa and the croissant show is just over the road. Plus there is a taxi rank in front of the hotel so no waiting around trying to flag taxis.
 
Bubble I have a strong feeling they will move us to those apartments u were talking about :evil:

How are those apartments?

And the most important question- is there a good big parking in the area of the apartments and/or hotel itself? (we're renting a car)

The apartments are ok, quite basic. Mine didn't have a view but most have a sea view which is a bonus. They also forgot to put towels in there the first night so I had to have a cold shower (seems to run out of hot water after a certain time) and dry myself with a sheet. Apart from that it was ok but I wouldn't stay there again. There are better places.

Yes there is a big car park next to the hotel. :D
 
Stayed there once. Our friends were moved to Lux Mar apts. staff was cool but; no hot water, no view, cleaning team are horrible; they knock at all doors to clean and they forget towels all time.
When I made a remark that we had a non disturbing sign on the door I got screamed at.

Yes this sounds very familiar. And the first night we got there we saw cockroaches everywere.
 
Park next to hotel; you're talking about the 1 across avenida espana?
Wonder if they built something instead?
Didn't see it last year or hadn't the right vision!
