Well if you like big fat BAs in football shirts singing 'We are f*cking England' and big fat HATs then you'll be happy in San An  ;)

As I said we only spent one night there and it wasn't the best night to pick with England playing but we only really saw Coastline and then walked down to Eden.

Gatecrasher music-wise is fab if you want to hear loads of classics from 98/99, the crowd was terrible tho (said mentioned BAs and HATs  ) but there were a few people there who were old Gatecrasher regulars.

Btw don't know if this applies all season but if you eat @ Coastline beforehand (meals are about 8 euros) you get your Gatecrasher ticket for 5 euros (they were selling them elsewhere for 35 euros) so you might want to check that out.

:o 5 Euros? Bargain. I'll check it out.

You visit play 2 or Koppas? I'll be there in August. Hopefully the England yobbo's will be gone by then.

Weather hot?

I don't really spend anytime in San An so don't know about anywhere else.

Weather was perfect for June, just one cloudy day which was DC10 which suited us fine.

I had the misfortune to have some cocktails and nibbles at Coastline on Thursday night for sunset. Everyones cocktails were truly awful and the food was really really greasy and we all had it repeating on us for the rest of the night.

On another point, Mr McRackin, or anyone else living out there....did you hear of anyone getting killed outside Amnesia on Thursday night/Friday morning last week? We were the second car there after a person got knocked down and they didnt move for the 15 mins we were they. They looked as if there was no way they could have survived. Just wondering whether they did or not as didnt hear anything anywhere else.

p.s. didnt want to create a seperate thread for this as it is a bit morbid and it was very upsetting when I saw it.

I just barely got over what I saw by Sunday. This upsets me again.

You poor thing, it's a horrible thing to see :( We were coming back from GCSS in 2000 and were a few cars behind a crash that killed 2 of the clubbers in the car, even now I shudder when I think about it. Really makes you think, just a few hours previously they were probably having the time of their life
