What is sanskrit? I know it's a language, but where from?
its one of the very first languages used in India and is the base language for the many dialects now spoken in that area.
we called her Naiya, which we thought we had made up, but turns out it means "water nymph" in Greek, although I adapted it from a Hindi name of "Neha". Her middle name is Anne....after my mum.
Very nice. The water nymph makes me think of those pics you see of babies floating around in water, or with flowers on their heads or something
