Anyone for a cheeseburger, a beer and a smoke?

All this talk about working out at the gym and having colorectal procedures today is freaking me out! I can't be the only one here who is not a health nut!

I'm off to have a fat-laden Italian dinner, some booze and a few cigarettes before settling into an evening of idleness

I'm meeting two friends in a terrace for a greassy falafel, few beers and few smokes :D

Thank you Sil... you've restored my faith in humanity and our inherent desire to enjoy the good things in life ;)

From here to late september, early october, terraces will be my main activity, except for weekens that I will be mainly in the beaches... :D

I am looking forward to Ibiza... while the missus is sunbathing and swimming, I'll be enjoying a rapid succession of cold San Miguels in my beach chair on Playa d'en Bossa, with my cigarette in hand, my iPod cranking some tunes, and my sunglasses on (to allow guiltless viewing of local scenery)

Been to Formentera... to be honest, the nude beaches there just depress me... where do they find those guys!? And how happy are their women? :?

SOUNDS GLORIOUS DAHLING....... :D

Eating right and working out is AWESOME, but it is equally important to have a few instances every once in a while where you let yourself splurge. If I didn't, I would go crazy.

I am the king of 'splurge' ;)

I will have to stop the splurging soon though or I will be insanely large

Naw... I generally prefer to eat wrong and not work out all the time

I look at it this way: life is too short to eat bland food (and don't fool yourself - healthy food is bland!) and to spend time either in some room sweating with machinery or running down the sidewalk.

I drink. I smoke. I eat fatty foods, including a good amount of meat and processed carbs (rice, pasta), especially with various sauces. :D And I adore anything fried

I'm fortunate enough to be "healthy as a bull" (as my wife says in Russian.. doesn't quite sound right in translation!) and not significantly overweight (athletic build, 176cm/5'9", 82k/180lbs). In short, I feel fine!

So I guess what I don't understand is why so many people are on this health kick. For the love of god... colon flushings, wraps, random herbal supplements, 15 hours a week in the gym... it's all gone too far! So, you live to be 102 and you forget your kids names but people say you lived a long healthy life?! I'd rather kick it at 60 and say I had a hell of a lot of fun

Good outlook my friend - although I do manage approx 3 hrs working out per week. It helps to alleviate the guilt imposed by my filthy lifestyle :D

I don't think the main point of a healthy diet is your weight, it's about how do you feel and how your colesterol, your heart and all those things develope.
I suppose healthy food is boring dependening on where do you live or your origins. For me it's not shocking eat fresh fruits and veggies all day cos I've been eating them since I was a little girl. I guess that if I grew up eating fried chips, meat, rice in hundred sauces and all that it would be a big pain to change into healthier diet.

Anyway, Healthy as a bull makes lots of sense for me, Morbyd
