Anyone else have a PM disappear?

I received an email saying I'd received a private message, but there's no private message to speak of. Has this happened to anyone else? What does it mean????????
 
It means someone sent you it, then before you read they deleted it from their Outbox but obviously you had the email notification that was sent when they had originally sent the PM.
 
So, if you send a PM and delete it from your outbox before the recipient reads it, then the recipient never actually gets the message? That's screwy!
 
Funny you should say that cos Mambs said she pm'd me early last week & I checked & I hadn't received owt from her :?

I was just going to post a link in a thread that was on here earlier about Star Wars and it's gone. Same with another thread (about teenage pregnancy) that I wanted to look in on.

This, while other, more offensive threads that should probably be killed linger on...

I think the hand of god has gone awry.

Ok, well 2 French Gays had to go, if only for the amount of vitriol cast about in that thread.

But I thought the teenage pregnancy thread was topical! Guess that falls inot the "no politics" and "no sex" forum rules :lol:
