NEW ROOM AT SPACE…
We are very happy and excited to announce that a new room has been added to the ever-expanding venue that is Space Ibiza.
EL SALON is a boutique venue within a venue, powered by the mighty Funktion 1 soundsystem delivering the sound our customers have come to expect from us over the last five years. It is an open-air room and to capture the original vibe of the open-air terrace sessions from yesteryear we have booked acts that we believe represent the true Balearic style.
Bi-weekly residents/headliners will be ALFREDO who needs little introduction to the heads out there, if you don't know Alfredo kick started the rave back in the day with his trademark cut ups slipping effortlessly between genres as the day broke over the heads of the original ravers when Amnesia was still a garden with a soundsystem!
You may be familiar with JONATHAN SA TRIXA our other bi-weekly resident/headliner if you have ever wandered down to the end of Salinas beach, easily the best dj booth in the world. Jonathan plays to the beautiful people down there three times a week, blessed out beats and cover versions nobody else seems to get hold of.
Supporting these acts will be bar djs/Ibiza residents you may have heard in some of the cooler venues around the island.

Yes - absolutely love it!!! I think it's a gorgeous little room - absolutely perfectly designed and practically made for island relics like Alfredo and John ST. 8)
 
GO through the new terrace to the doors at the back where there are some loos, and it's down the stairs on the right there.

It's a nice room, but was empty all the time we were there, but great if you want a sit down as there are seats all round the edge.

Very good for a chill out and a nice spot to learn chinese.

Goes back a bit further than that mate - he practically invented the musical tag balearic and was Europe's answer to Larry Levan in the late 80s.

He used to practically own the then roofless Amnesia terrace. 8)
 
It is a nice chill room indeed... but you wouldn't know it was there unless stumbled upon it by accident! :lol:

(I love that they've put toilets in on that side of the terrace, though... no more pushing all the way through the crowd from my usual dancing spot :D)
