anybody seen Steve Norman?

I know this is cheesy but I heard that Steve Norman (saxophonist/percussionist of Spandau Ballet) lives in Ibiza. Just an object of a 14 y/o girl's fantasy oh soooo many years ago.... :lol:
 
Now, he doesn't. Steve used to have a flat in Dalt Villa, but he moved back to the UK in June. He's now living in the Kings Cross area.
If you like 80's pop stars then John Taylor (Duran Duran), Skin (Skunk Anansie) and Paul Tucker (Lighthouse Family, who's new album is going to be an absolute blinder (Serious!)) all still live on the Island.
 
Do Chas & Dave still live on the island? Last time I heard, they shared an apartment with Bucks Fizz and the bird fay Aqua!

maybe it has moved later but this morning plaça constitució still was in la marina, not in dalt vila!! ;)

Saw Duran Duran last December in Atlanta when they kicked off their US tour for their new album. They can still rock the house! Only thing I noticed was the overabundance of HUGE women in the audience...or maybe because we are in the South??? :lol:

About two years ago Duran Duran played at Webster Hall, a club here in NY, when they first started their reunion tour. I walked by early and saw a number of HUGE women waiting on line - it's definitely not just a Southern thing! Maybe these are the girls who were too self-conscious to see them in the 80s because the Duran shows back then were filled with model-type women. The fat girls are getting their rocks off now while the models are with Lenny Kravitz.

I remember back then meeting the prettiest girls at Duran shows, while the porn star-types hung out at Billy Idol shows. Nowadays it's either junior high schoolers or senior citizens at Billy Idol shows - rarely anything in between. :p

...You watch now though, some die hard Spandau Ballet fan is going to steal the door knocker.

the orange lights, a new band featuring paul tucker and an ex-member of spiritualized, will be supporting the editors next monday at bar m.....
 
no idea what it is!! :confused:

it was painted by doralice souza (an old school friend) and another artist that i cant remember now. apparently those paintings will disappear in october.....
