stayin at club paraiso in may 4 our first wk til we find jobs heard mixed reviews about this place !! any1 like to add to the reviews??xxxxxxx8)

youl be fine
dont worry about the club paraiso atall.
its really great, clean and the restaurant/buffet place is great.
admittedly its a freestyle accomodation and the kind of peole who stay there arent fashionistas, or the classiest people you will meet
...you know what i mean..lager louts etc, but youl have a great time there and its in great location, 5 in walk from square and west end. same distance to the sunset bars etc.
the accommodation is great,very clean, great pool. chill out area for reading and sunbathing in peace and quiet. the music is ok, and there are usually pre parties there etc.
it costs about 5 euros a day if you want air con. there is a machine in every room, but you need a tv style remote to work it, they give you that for 5 euros a day....WELL WORTH IT.
and on entry there is a supermarket.

Paraiso really is a great hotel to stay in if your up a rowdy time.
Jail
Me and 5 friends stayed there 3 years ago ( 3 couples ) we got nothing but harassment from the security on the gate .
We wernt loud, act the magget or larger loutish .
For instance my mate and his girlfriend were coming on about 8pm from having dinner and only one had there pass card the guy on the gate made him go to his room bring down the other card and both there passports ( if uve stayed there its a big place and they were at the far end of the building ) and it continued from there.
Every one like abit of security but thats a bit much you dont want to feel like your in a jail.
In my room also 2 of the plug sockets didnt work i reported this on the first half and hour of checking in, a guy landed at my door on my second to last day ( was there for 2 weeks ) and said "i here you are having problems with the sockets" that was no good to me. I could go on and on but your bored reading already lol.
There are lots of diffrent reports about this place maybe i was just unlucky, i have been to Ibiza other times and ill be back again this year but ill not be staying there.

Nothing to do with being unlucky, the security are terrible
, it takes a week to get a fan in the room (had to buy one from a local shop after the hotel said they didnt have any??) and the shower didnt work properly. I've booked already to go back to Ibiza for the 9th time and it definitley wont be in guantanamo bay - sorry -the paraiso.
