Any suggestions for a wedding location/venue in Ibiza

Hello everyone

I'm planning on getting married in Ibiza next year and looking for ideas on venues for the reception that won't break the bank (yeah, I know that is wistful thinking in Ibiza ).

Looking for a nice setting and decent food at a reasonable price - reception will probably be for 40-50 people.

I've already looked at a few wedding threads on here (and looked at the relevant pages on the main spotlight site) but always keen to get more suggestions.

Will be flying out in September to scout out a load of places so all ideas would be very welcome.

Cheers everyone.

Does your partner know Budgie? Or maybe you've not told them, but planted the seed?

Perhaps you could just go out and wing it?

(Congratulations btw! I'm sure someone with less crap jokes and more relevanty knowledge will post shortly!)

Thanks for your tips so far guys.

I think Pikes will be well out of our price range and suspect Cap des Falco might be a bit too expensive too.

Pauly - have you used Eat Ibiza for catering before and if so what venue did you use?

I'm wondering whether it would be cost effective to hire a big villa or something and get caterers if I can get a villa for a few days rather than a whole week.

We hired a villa and got maried on the nearest beach http://www.ibizaholidays.com/beaches/cala_gracionetta.asp

Eat Ibiza turned up as planned at the villa. The food was ace, they used all thier own facilities, waiters, bar-staff and took it all away afterwards with no fuss. I cant recommend them enough.
On one of our winter pre wedding visits they made us a sample tasting (the starters, mains, booze) which sealed the deal :D

I think you got married in my friend Lauren's villa Pauly, although they don't own it anymore. Outdoor bar/decks area by the pool?

Looks like I've add the conversation with Mrs Pauly before!

Thanks for that Pauly - the pics look great and I'll get in touch with eat Ibiza.

Now, for my next question, can any of you recommend a villa that could accommodate 50 people for a reception (obviously not all staying there, but with big enough grounds for a sit down meal, etc)?

Casa D'Inspiracion - not sure how you get hold of it these days...

You could have the meal on the roof, or inside on the dancefloor

Spotlight do villas you know.......

Cheers Buckley.

Just found some pics on the internet. Looks amazing, but also well out of my price range. I'll try and look at some of the villas on Spotlight while I'm out in September.

Really looking for one with a flexible arrival day and that I can hire for 3 or 4 days rather than a whole week.
