Hi everyone. im Planing my First ibiza trip and one question came up in my mind.
does anyone know any hidden secret beaches?
do you have any beaches you recommend to check out?
I want to chill at quieter beaches away from the party madness with less people,so i can find peace.
Any tips about beaches are welcome !

Thanks!

lots but they are secret for a reason!

just start exploring and bit by bit you'll find them. I've been coming to Ibiza for over a decade and have been living here all year around for over 3 years and still I find new beaches & coves now!!

There Are so many nice Secret beaches, some recomandations are es portitxol, Cala Blanca and Cala Truja! I think with Google you will find the way

I have that book and its been very helpful and informative and served us well. But there are beaches and coves that we stumbled across that where not even in there. Get yourself some transport and explore as Ibiza ( and formentera ) has some magical places.

We go by a rule.. the harder the road in, the better the reward when you get there.

thank you guys ! now i started to understand what is it like to finding beaches.
without road sounds tough though !

good rule moondust. and the best ones are the ones without road access!!
Hey Stivi, how is Es Canaret? I was thinking of making that one of the beaches i head to this year for the first time. Any decent snorkeling there? The pictures in the secret beaches book makes it look like a lagoon with still water.

it is very much like that yeah, as long as you don't have any strong winds coming from the north! water is really shallow and there are parts which are great for snorkeling yeah.

Sweet thanks for the tip, ill be sure to head out there to check it out. This sounds ideal.

it luckily leaves out lots of great small beaches!!

I don't own a copy myself. I suspect its aimed at those who aspire to get a bit more off the well trodden tourist tracks. I guess anything which inspires people to get and about more around the island can't be a bad thing though!

You could always use it as a guide for beaches not to go to!

Hire a boat with a skipper - great way to access the more remote spots which can be a real challenge using a car/walking especially if you're short on time. There are some great little spots up the North-East coast for which it's best to rent a boat from Santa Eularia, or if you rent from San An you can easily do the West and North-West. You can burn hundreds of Euros in fuel if you rent from the "wrong" side of the island !

I really like Portixol, well worth a trip if you haven't been.

Try Punta Galera.

One of my favourite 'beaches' and also clothing optional!

I love that place too - and always a bonus in theory, but every time I've been it's had lots of "sightseers" with zoom lenses round their necks and not relaxed enough to want to commune with nature unfortunately ... !
