So, my 'friend' has let me down and it's now looking like I'll be going to Ibiza alone! I'm a 30 yr old female flying from manchester, anyone other girls out here then? Getting pretty scared!!xxx
 
I am a girl and I will be in Ibiza from the 13th until the 21st of August alone. It will be my fifth trip to Ibiza. I was planning to go with friends but they had money issues and had to back out.

You should not be scared about going alone. It is a great place to meet people since everyone is there to have fun.

I will be staying in San Antonio. Where will you be staying?

I reckon people are scared of ibiza lol, my "friend has let me down last minute too" tut tut

All good though, you will meet so many people out there ,its pretty chilled and every body is on the same wave length---you will be fine
 
I'm staying at marco polo 2 in san antonio!! Really scared!! Not my first time there but just worried about being on my own xxx
 
You should find mates (rather in San an) & not only girls unless you are untrustful to boys (i can understand).People are there to party & with the number you get more options (share infos, cost, tips( that can't be spread to the world)ect.. )than alone or a few people...You should post a Schedule plan (unless your plan is to stay in san an for all your trip then you can be on your own & met people just having a drink in a bar:not recommanded) in order to get contacts .What do you want to do in ibz? kind of music/djs you are into? chill out day? raw party? daytime party? Sunset, beach? ect...there is nothing worse than not to know what to do one night :? Spotlight contacts can make you feel comfy not to be on your own in ibz but Rule to keep in mind:it's not that you get spotlight contacts for now that you will meet them there too..).

I am not a girl, and I even planned to go on my own (in August as well) But I still do have my worries (maybe cuz its the first for me on the island).. The point is, Its ok if you have your own worries, but from what I can tell (although I never been there) Nothing Can Go Wrong :)
You'll meet a lot of nice people, one way or another, and you'll just have a great time.. right ?
 
Wish I'd booked ibiza town now, seems to be more people staying there off here plus it might be a bit safer as a lone female!!
 
Yeah it seems like it should a be a good spot! Maybe you can switch? Thought finding accom might be harder and more exp now!
 
I have been to Ibiza four times already and three of those times I have stayed in San Antonio and several times I have been alone as a woman after friends went home and it's been fine. No problem at all. I personally prefer San Antonio because you have the busy street in the West End with bars where you can meet people easily. My first stay in Ibiza I stayed in Figueretas near Ibiza town and I found it less fun because there was no one area I saw where it was easy to meet people.
 
You won't believe how worried I am!! Not the most confident of people so really worried I'll find it hard to meet people!!
 
niki stay cool . Just plan your stay and where you want to hang out , enjoy the atmosphere and things will happen.
I am a guy and going there alone as was last year cause my friends are not into this kind of music and clubbing. I will enjoy it, and already have some contacts from this forum.

I know exactly how you feel... I am terrified. I figure if worse comes to worse I'll just relax on the beach.. can't complain as I'll be on a beach off the coast of Spain!

what are you talking about ? worst case scenario, you have already a bunch of us on here who will be there :)
 
i agree, San Antonio is safe even if it is noisy.

You will always meet people, and everyone is pretty much friendly!
